As you all know Mick was selected as a reserve for the 2008 Olympic judo team and Mat Cillottie taken the honors, we wish mat all the best for the Olympics a well deserved position.
After a long, long road to overcome many obstacles over the past 10yrs, Mick has completed another milestone in his endeavor to better is knowledge and hands on training by Graduating from the CENGAGE EDUCATION College with a Diploma of Counselling & Communication allowing Mick to expand his teaching abilities in the field of Sports for individuals wanting the leading edge in motivation, gold setting, personal development.
In the past Mick has delivered many lectures on Motivation & gold setting at the University of Wollongong as a guest lecturer for 1st and 2nd year Psychology students and has designed his own set of methods to use in this position to aid students. Recently Mick was a guest speaker for a seminar on the drug ICE in Syd were over 300 people attended the seminar, also in attendance were several other sporting identity's.Mick is Currently self-employed as a Senior training coordinator for Government approved course, such as, sports coaching, fitness, self defence. Also hosts seminars personal development and risk prevention also seminars for special interest groups. Recently Mick was successful in securing a contract with the W.E.A college to deliver the NEW Judo S.A.F.E program which he designed and will be starting this new course on the 19th of August.
Mick now has all the paper work to go with the personal experience that money simply cannot buy, he is one of the most hands on qualified professional in the country, he now has completed over 10yrs of study gaining qualifications for:- Degree BSC Psychology major

- Diploma in Counselling & communication.
